Here's a page out of my Taper's Handbook. I manage and sync my music on multiple iPods and iPhones:
Managing a Music Library on a PC and loading music on an iPod

Torrenting, sharing, and d/l the SBDs takes the most amount of time and effort. If you d/l AUDs for your iPod, and you want MP3 files: fastest, cheapest, easiest, best way to go for you is to d/l the VBR ZIP file for the show you want. Unzip the files on your computer. The track names will already be tagged and named by The Archive for you. These files are mp3. Put these files into your iTunes library.

If you d/l lossless (Flac or Shn or Wav) AUDs for a high fidelity stereo system:

Oh, yeah, sure--yea, great Monte...Just swoop in here and dazzle the damsel in distress with your imbedded windows and all the rest...crap.

Chuck and I will just take our Stone Age "PC for Morons" iterative approach and melt away in embarrassment...
